I am Rianne te Kaat, born in 1993. I have always been an artist. Since I was a little kid I have been drawing a lot. I drew illustrations, portraits and caricatures. When I was 16 I sold my first portrait of Michael Jackson and I was so proud!
I studied at the HAN University of Applied Sciences and graduated as a product engineer. I have worked 4 years as a product developer, and even as a project manager at several companies like Philips, Auping and Goliath Games.
In the summer of 2017 I came in touch with international 3D painters. I made my first painting and I immediately loved it. I started my artist company: 'Rianne te Kaat' on 17-07-2017. Since then I have made different paintings around The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. I would love to travel the world for what I love most: making art!
I like to challenge myself over and over, because it's important for me to grow no matter what happens. I don't shrink back from learning new things. Think about getting different kind of wishes from clients, using new techniques and materials or to participate at new events.
Because of my work as an engineer I have had the opportunity to experience the business world, what will definitely help me with building up my own company.
I get so much energy from all different kinds of work I can execute as an artist. It's fantastic to see that I give joy to other people through my work.
I also find it very important to have personal contact with my clients, it has to be informal and accessible.
